ALL ABOUT JASON...

Founder Jason Thorso was educated in Denmark as a Machinist, Tool and Die Maker, Certified Welder and Mechanical Engineer.

After arriving in the United States in 1960, he developed his skills and passion for quality while working for a Danish furniture factory developing a Dealer Organization in America.

In 1966 Mr. Thorso started the "Thorso Company", specializing in the manufacturing and installation of modular office systems. The installation company grew to become one of the largest installation companies in the country with 65 full time installers.

Thorso Company installation division was sold in 1981 and Jason continued with the company now called Jason Design where he designed special components and Aluminum extrusions for the furniture and material handling trade.

At the same time he was employed by a number of manufacturers of compact storage systems as Sales Manager, General Manager, Design and Manufacturing. During that period he refined his life-long skills by working on material handling problems in more than 30 countries around the world.

In 2003 Jason decided to allocate his entire time and effort in the further development of Jason Design which was incorporated under the present name of "Jason Thorso Design, Inc." where we specialize in designs giving the customers the absolute maximum use of their allocated space, being it floor space in a building, supplying a complete Modular offices, Compact Storage and Filing Systems, Warehouse shelving, Libraries, Pallet Racking, etc.

Jason Thorso Design, Inc., only employs Certified Installers who are factory trained for a Major US producer of Mobile Aisle compact storage systems. This assures our clients are fully protected under applicable product warranty standards.
